This is a 20 Ouguiya banknote from Mauritania, issued by the Central Bank of Mauritania in 2020.

The note is made of a Guardian polymer plastic substrate and measures approximately 130 x 66 mm.

The front side features Arabic text, an open book on a stand, and the Great Mosque of Gataga in Kaédi.

The back side displays the geological feature known as the Guelb er Richat (Eye of Africa).
